As a young boy Chris had very little interest in Rallying, that was until Wales Rally GB in 2003 where his father, Karl Davies (a Rally Driver and Very Successful Rally Engineer himself) took Chris to the service area in Swansea where he caught the Rally Bug and never looked back.
Over the next few years Chris' enthusiasm for the sport grew and grew, firstly as a service crew for various drivers in the Welsh Tarmacadam Championship and marshalling on local events.

From there Chris never looked back, competing all over the world until 2015 where Chris took a few years out of competing while his Daughters, Hannah & Harriet were young.
However the Motorsport bug is not an easy one to keep at bay, and Chris was tempted back out in 2022 by Silverstone Rally School whom were looking for a co-driver to support their Stunt Drivers in obtaining their Stunt Licenses.
As 2024 closes, Chris is almost competing as often as he did, having competed in the BTRDA Rally Series, Welsh National Forest Championship and various out events in the British Rally Championship & Protyre Asphalt Rally Championship..... not to mention is in the running for winning the 2024 Club Championship Co-Driver category.
As Well as his co-driving, Chris is no stranger to Organising, having run a Rally Championship from 2008-2010 and previous experience of sitting on the WAMC Competitions Committee.
With his 16th Birthday fast approaching Chris decided he wanted to start competing as a Co-Driver. However to do this he required a budget, so the search began to find Sponsorship for the 2007 season.
Sponsorship was found with the company 'Carter & Carter Group PLC', who supported Chris to compete in the 2007 BTRDA Asphalt Rally Series, codriving for his father Karl in his Subaru Impreza.
This season ended winning the Junior Championship and the Class.
